01 / 01Arcane
Arcane wanted a wordmark built around a Y2K/retro grunge script aesthetic. Thick, personality-heavy lettering rather than a thin typography font, so it could carry across avatars, VHS-style branding and merch.
Started with the "A" alone to lock in the letterform before building out the full word, thickening the strokes so it read as a typeface, not just stylized type. Worked a star motif through the letters, doubling as the crossbar of the E.
Delivered the final wordmark in black and white-outline versions, along with the source AI file for the client to build render variants from.
